Clare Burren Marathon Challenge 2026 – Mini Marathon
Race Details
The Clare Burren Marathon Challenge Mini Marathon (6 miles) takes place on Saturday 23rd May 2026, starting and finishing in the village of Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare. It is a great entry-level option offering stunning Burren scenery without the full distance.
Route: Leaving Ballyvaughan, after 1 mile take a right up Fineona road. At the top, turn right and continue along the Cappanawalla green road. Enjoy stunning views of Ballyvaughan village, The Rine, and Aillwee Mountain until you meet the coast road, then left to the turnaround at the Pinnacle Well, which takes you back to the finish line on The Pier in Ballyvaughan.
Distance: 6 miles
Requirements: Participants must be over 16 years of age.
