Connemarathon Ultra Marathon 2026

Race Details

• Ultra Marathon (39.3 miles / 63.3 km)
  Start time: 9:00 AM at Recess
  Features a challenging out-and-back section to Rosroe Pier with a total elevation gain of 572 meters. Ultra runners attend a pre-race briefing at 8:00 AM at Peacocke’s Hotel, Maam Cross.
  Maximum finish time: 8.5 hours.

The ultra marathon finishes at Maam Cross with excellent atmosphere and support. Buses transport runners to the start point from Galway, Oughterard, Clifden, and Delphi Resort.

The event date for 2026 is Sunday, 19th April.
