Fat Turkey Run 2025

Race Details

The Fat Turkey Run 2025 is an over 16s event supporting Suttonians Rugby Football Club and the IRFU Charitable Trust. The race will be held on Saturday 27th December 2025, starting at 11:00 AM from St Fintans Church, Sutton.

The scenic and challenging 10km route commences at St Fintans Church, goes up Carrickbrack Road, turns right at the Summit Shop, again right onto Baily Green Road up to the Summit Car Park (turnaround and aid/water station), then returns on the same route.

Participant registration opens at 09:00 in Suttonians RFC (opposite Sutton Dart Station), with facilities including parking, changing rooms, and showers. Registration closes at 10:30. The finish line is on the grass verge opposite St Fintans Church.

Post-race, participants can enjoy refreshments, prize giving at Suttonians RFC, and family activities including live music and BBQs.

The race fee is €28 plus a registration fee, which includes a technical 'turkey' running t-shirt and a limited edition finisher's medal.

A cut-off time of 85/90 minutes applies. Chip timing and race numbers are provided at registration.
