The Fields of Athenry 10K is a 10-kilometer road race held in Athenry, Co. Galway on St. Stephen's Day, December 26th. The race starts behind the train station and finishes under the historic arch in the heart of the town. While there are some ups and downs, the course is not considered hilly and is known for a very fast finish over the last kilometer.
