Gaelforce 10K Wicklow 2025

Race Details

Follow the path through the mystical woodlands of Clara Vale in this challenging 10K trail run. The Gaelforce 10K Wicklow takes place on rough, uneven, and slippery trails, making trail running shoes mandatory.

Start Times & Waves:

• Wave 1: 11:00am
• Wave 2: 11:15am
• Wave 3: 11:30am
• Wave 4: 11:45am
• Wave 5: 12:00pm
• Walkers Wave: 12:00pm

Location:

• Start Line: Clissmann Horse Caravans, Cronybyrne, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow (A67YP82)
• 15-minute walk from finish line/parking area to start line

Course Information:

• Distance: 10 kilometers
• Terrain: Rough, uneven, slippery woodland trails
• Course closes: 2 hours 30 minutes after the last wave's start time
• Water station at halfway point (bring your own container)

Registration:

• Registration is by post - race packs arrive by November 6th
• On-the-day registration available: €50 (cash or card via QR code)
• International competitors collect race packs at information desk on event day

Important Requirements:

• Trail running shoes MUST be worn
• No headphones allowed
• No littering (immediate disqualification)
• Bring your own water bottle/container for refills

Facilities:

• Parking available at Clissmann Horse Caravans
• Bag and key drop at finish line (closes 15:10pm)
• Toilets at finish line only (not at start line)
• Information desk open from 9:30am

Prizes & Results:

• Must compete in Wave 1 to be eligible for prizes
• Prize giving at 12:30pm at finish line
• Finisher's medal and event top for all participants
• Results available online the day after the event
