Gap of Dunloe Full Marathon 2025

Race Details

The Gap of Dunloe Full Marathon is considered Ireland's most challenging marathon, taking runners through the legendary Gap of Dunloe with breathtaking views of Killarney's stunning scenery around every bend. The event takes place on Sunday, 16th November 2025, starting at 8:00 am. The participant limit is 300 for the marathon.

Number pickup is on Saturday the 15th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Portwest Store, 94 New Street, Killarney, or on race morning at Kate Kearney’s Cottage from 7:00 am to 8:30 am. The marathon has a cutoff time of 1:00 pm (5 hours). Water stops are located at approximately 10km, 20km, and 30km. The course is fully signposted and marshalled, with prizes for the top three male and female finishers.
