Regeneron Great Limerick Run 2026 - Kids Fun Run
Race Details
The Limerick City & County Council Kids Fun Run is part of the Regeneron Great Limerick Run weekend, held on the grounds of the University of Limerick. In proud partnership with Limerick City & County Council and supporting the Children's Grief Centre, this event encourages healthy habits, outdoor activity, and joyful participation in a safe and supportive environment. Every runner receives a finisher's medal.
Distance: 1–2km (age dependent) Location: University of Limerick, Athletics Track and Campus Entry Fee: €15 (includes event T-shirt & finisher medal)
Wave Starts
- 2:30pm: Wheelchair Event (on track)
- 3:00pm: Junior & Senior Infants — 1km route
- 3:45pm: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Class — 1.5km route
- 4:30pm: 4th, 5th & 6th Class — 2km route
Parents, guardians, and minders are encouraged to join for the first two runs. Water stations available on-site.
