The Joe Duffy BMW Clontarf 5 Mile race starts at 10:30 AM from EastPoint Business Park and follows a hard-surfaced route along the Clontarf Promenade and Clontarf Road, ideal for runners and walkers alike. The course is flat and well-suited for fast times. Participants will run along the promenade, turning at Davis Court and returning to the finish area at the race village. The event features a welcoming atmosphere with medals and goodies at the finish line and is an annual sell-out race. Entry includes race number postage for those registering before the end of October. Parking and race village details are managed with a one-way system, and participants are advised to use public transport or carpool where possible.
