The Joe Duffy BMW Clontarf Half Marathon takes place on the scenic Clontarf Promenade and Bull Island with stunning views of Howth Head and Dublin Bay. It is known as Ireland's flattest half marathon, providing an ideal course for runners aiming for a personal best. The race starts at 10:00 AM from EastPoint Business Park and follows a route along Dublin’s coast, including Clontarf Road, the inbound lane of Howth Road, past St. Anne's Park to Sutton, before turning around and returning via Bull Island. Pace runners are available to help participants meet their goals. This is an annual sell-out event with a big race atmosphere, medals, and goodies at the unique finish line. Entry fees include race number postage if entered before the late October deadline.
