Newcastle Way Half Marathon 2025

Race Details

The Newcastle Way Half Marathon takes place in the shadow of the Mournes in Newcastle, Co. Down. The route follows the Newcastle Way, a waymarked trail.

Route: The half marathon starts just outside Castlewellan forest and follows the same route as the marathon back to Newcastle. Participants will have the option to take a bus to the start.

Navigation: The route is already marked with trail markers - it is your responsibility to look for the markers. A GPX file of the route is supplied that you can follow on your own device (watch/mobile phone using a GPX app or hand-held GPS device).
