Race Details

The Newcastle Way Marathon takes place on Sunday 4th October 2026, starting in Newcastle, Co. Down. The course follows the Newcastle Way, a stunning trail route through the foothills of the Mourne Mountains with views of Dundrum Bay and the Irish Sea.

The route is predominantly trail with no additional signage — a GPX file is provided. Marshals are present at designated checkpoints only.
