Race Details
The Tom Brennan Memorial 5k is an annual road race held in Phoenix Park, Dublin, usually starting on New Year's Day at 9:30 AM. It features a flat and fast two-loop course ideal for personal bests. The event is hosted by Liffey Valley AC and includes chip timing, bespoke event bobble hats for finishers, and prizes for top finishers.
Registration is required in advance with no day-of-race registration. The entry fee is approximately €28.50. Prize categories include first three men and women, veteran age groups, junior categories, and team competitions.
The racecourse starts and finishes on Furze Road near Chesterfield Avenue, close to the Eagle Monument.
This race is part of the Lord Mayor’s 5 Alive Challenge.
