The Waterford Viking Half Marathon takes place on Saturday 20th June 2026, offering a scenic 13.1-mile route through Waterford City. Runners are treated to Waterford's Viking heritage, historic landmarks and beautiful riverside scenery.

Route highlights: The course passes through the Medieval city and along the Greenway, with views of Mount Congreve Gardens and the iconic Waterford Crystal building. Runners pass landmarks including The Mall, O'Connell Street and the Glass Works before finishing in the city.
